Bridging Strategy and Practice: Teaching at Shandong Agricultural University in China

ree

Over the past three weeks, our Managing Director Dr. Christoph Knitter had the privilege of teaching at Shandong Agricultural University in Taian (China), a leading institution ranked among the top 3% of universities worldwide. His lectures focused on topics at the very core of what we do at Knitter & Associates: implementing strategic initiatives, managing successful transformation and change programs, and supporting turnarounds in complex organizations.

More than 300 students took part in the sessions, an inspiring group whose dedication, curiosity, and eagerness to learn left a lasting impression.

What made this teaching experience particularly rewarding was the opportunity to bridge academic theory with practical insights from our consulting work with leading organizations around the world. By connecting classroom concepts with real-world examples from strategy, transformation, and turnaround programs, the sessions demonstrated how structured thinking and disciplined execution can drive tangible performance improvements.

As Christoph returns to Germany, he looks forward to continuing to shape and deliver our clients’ most important strategic initiatives and transformation programs with renewed energy and fresh perspectives gained from this exchange.
