Andrea attends Financial Times Women in Business Summit in London

On 17 June 2025, the Financial Times hosted its Women in Business Summit in London, bringing together an impressive group of female leaders, founders, and policymakers from across industries.

Among the highlights was Malala Yousafzai (Nobel Peace Prize Laureate), whose contribution underscored the importance of leadership, resilience, and access to opportunity. Alongside her, senior executives and entrepreneurs shared practical insights on scaling businesses, leading transformation, and embedding diversity into corporate strategy.

What made the summit particularly relevant for Knitter & Associates was its clear focus on execution. Discussions consistently moved beyond ambition and targets, emphasizing measurable outcomes, leadership accountability, and the role of inclusive cultures in driving performance. These themes closely reflect the challenges many organizations face when translating strategy into tangible results.

Attending the summit provided valuable perspectives directly applicable to what is core to our consulting approach. Successful transformation programs increasingly depend on diverse leadership teams and inclusive decision-making processes. Integrating these elements into strategy and execution strengthens resilience, fosters innovation, and supports sustainable performance improvements.

The summit reinforced a key conviction: advancing inclusive leadership is not a separate initiative, but an integral part of delivering effective strategy and transformation.
